Saber Boys Win Manchester Invitational Small School Race
Over 60 schools from around New England descended on Derryfield Park on
Saturday for the 47th Manchester Invitational. Competing in the Small
School Varsity Race, with over 30 other schools, and over 200 runners,
the Sabers turned in their finest performance of the season, placing 5
runners in the top 20, scoring a mere 54 points, as they raced to a
convincing victory over runner up Oyster River (101 points). Jaren
Noorda once again led the way for Souhegan, finishing 8th overall and
racing over the hills of Derryfield Park, in 17:10. Owen Stine (11th,
17:31) then led a pack of 4 more Sabers: Dallen Noorda (17th, 17:37),
Finley Irvine (18th, 17:38), and Taloosh Anderson (20th, 17:41) across
the line. Patrick Vore and Baxter Paulini also raced well for the
Sabers, as both of them garnered top 50 finishes as well.

Congrats Sabers!
Lots of team building happens on the bus. It would be ideal that all team members are abel to be together on the ride home from a contest win our lose. We understand that things come up and there may be a real need to transport your athlete home after an event. If you need to bring your student athlete home from an event, please use the form to the right.
